    My husband and I love Thai food. We purchased several Thai and Asian cookbooks, but their complexity, ingredients, and organization were daunting for 2 newbies to Asian cooking. Then we chanced upon Linda Stephen's Complete Book of Thai Cooking. Attractive features include the color coded organization for each section of the cookbook, colorful photos scattered throughout, the very well designed page layout which clarifies the ingredients, usually 2-4 step directions, variations, and helpful comments. This user-friendly pattern makes it a breeze to follow the recipes. We started with the "Crispy Cucumber Salad" Delightful and easy! Next came "Scallops and Shrimp with Lemongrass and Coconut Milk." Wow! Scrumptious! My husband loves mussels, so "Mussels in Coconut Broth" became a weekly appetizer when mussels were available. We both love the simplicity of the recipes coupled with tasty results.
